Carly Pearce is teasing a new song about social media trolls . . . and she unleashed it on X . . . the EPICENTER OF SOCIAL MEDIA TROLLDOM.
In the caption, she said, “I never post new songs, but I wrote this one last week and thought it was important. We are more than just a social media handle. We all have feelings, too.”
The lyrics include the lines: “Strangers hidin’ behind their screens, like I won’t read it. Wish I could say it don’t get to me, but I believe it. Then I hear my name and hear the music, that’s when I pretend that I ain’t human.”
It’s unclear if and how it might be released. (Here’s the clip.)
