The story behind the event:
On Friday, September 27, multi-double-PLATINUM duo The Reklaws and the entire Walker family will bring the farm they grew up on, the YeeHaw Adventure Farm, to life in downtown Toronto. Honouring their journey over the past few years, The Reklaws will unite friends, family and fans on what would have been their mom’s 60th birthday to announce the establishment of the ‘Flo Walker Stardust Fund’ at ‘The Reklaws’ YEE HAW Fun-Raiser’. Partnering on this important project with Kids Help Phone, the duo will launch the fund by making a six-figure donation during the event.
Since the unexpected loss of their mom in 2022, The Reklaws have been very vocal about the importance of open conversation surrounding mental health and mental health care. Leveraging the funds raised by family, friends and fans following their mother’s passing and at the event, the ‘Flo Walker Stardust Fund’ will see the brother-sister duo support Kids Help Phone, Canada’s only free, 24/7 national, confidential, e-mental health support service for all young people in Canada. KHP is the safe, trusted space to Feel Out Loud over the phone, through text, or in self-directed supports for any moment of crisis or need.
Attendees can expect a full Reklaws live show experience when attending the ‘YEE HAW Fun-Raiser.’ Fans should plan to arrive early to participate in fun and games, enjoy some food and drink, and grab a piece of custom merch with proceeds going towards ‘The Flo Walker Stardust Fund’. The evening will culminate with the award-winning pair bringing their larger-than-life live performance to the stage at Toronto’s iconic outdoor patio RendezViews at 7:30pm EST.
In conjunction with this exclusive concert event, The Reklaws will release a new collection of songs titled “Outliving (For Mom)” on September 27. The 3-pack will be a heartfelt tribute to their mother, reflecting on the memories that have shaped their lives.
