A former Durham Regional Police officer has been charged in connection with a historic sexual assault investigation. Police say they reopened the 2003 case after receiving new information in 2024. The complainant alleges the officer told her to lie when she was first interviewed. The SIU says former officer Kevin Siemens was initially arrested in May.
