Brantford police are appealing to the public in finding missing a 41-year-old transient man who goes by the name ‘Keith.’
Keith is described as an Indigenous male, five-feet, 11-inches tall with a medium build with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen in Milton on Sept.17 and may currently be in Brantford.
Brantford Police Service said they are concerned for Keith’s well-being and are asking for the public help.
 We know a bit more about the massive student data breach Across the country, that compromised the data of about 5.2 million Canadians,  including 3.8 million Ontarians.
Privacy watchdogs in Ontario and Alberta issued their findings yesterday, concluding that school boards lacked adequate response plans, among other issues.
Ontario's privacy commissioner says a software and storage company for school, was a victim of a cyberattack, paid the ransom, but then the criminals also demanded payments from school boards, including those in Toronto and Peel Region.
The provincial privacy commissioners made recommendations to implement monitoring systems and ensure adequate policies are in place.
 
Ophthalmologists are warning the Ontario government against allowing optometrists to perform certain surgeries and laser treatments, saying it is unsafe for patients. 
The province is considering changes that would let optometrists do minor in-office procedures under local anesthesia, manage cataracts and glaucoma with lasers and order diagnostic tests. 
The optometrists would need to pass exams and complete supervised clinical practice before performing these procedures. 
 
Ontario is considering new measures to require impaired drivers to pay ongoing child support if they kill a child's parent or guardian. 
The proposals would build on the 2024 Safer Roads and Communities Act, which imposes lifetime license suspensions for impaired driving causing death. 
Attorney General Doug Downey said the goal is to ensure surviving children have long-term financial stability, citing similar laws in places like Texas. 
In 2021, Ontario recorded 182 impaired driving fatalities.
 
The new most stolen vehicle list is out.
According to the report by Equite Association, the Honda C-R-V was Ontario's most stolen vehicle in 2024, followed by the Dodge Ram, and the Honda Civic came third.
Nationally, the Toyota RAV-4 leads the charge as the most stolen vehicle, followed by the Dodge Ram 1500 and Honda CRV.
They noted that newer S-U-V's with keyless security vulnerabilities remain prime targets,
With some critics saying…Maybe " Smart Keyless" entry, isn’t such a smart idea after all.
 
In case you didn’t know, the most stolen car usually means the highest insurance rates.
A report from Rates-dot-c-a meanwhile, found that young drivers face the most ridiculous rates, imaginable.
It found that a 20-year-old male in Toronto is paying over 13-thousand-dollars a year to insure a recent Honda Civic, while a female is paying just under 10-thousand. 
Experts say drivers under 25 are far more likely to get tickets or be involved in crashes, which result in an increase in driving premiums. 
 
Canada rolled out the red carpet yesterday for Sweden’s king and queen in Ottawa.
King Carl Gustaf praised Canada as a trusted ally as the countries signed a new partnership.
The deal spans defense, clean power, and critical minerals, and aims to strengthen Arctic security and the possibility of Saab’s assembling Gripen fighter jets in Canada.
