Provincial police say they've identified the remains of a second victim in an ongoing Simcoe, homicide investigation.
Police say the remains found last week in a wooded area off Highway 6, in Haldimand County, have been confirmed as those of 49-year-old Robert Sykes.
OPP had previously said he was missing and feared to be another victim after a woman was found dead in a Simcoe home earlier this month.
A 45-year-old charged with second-degree murder is believe to be the woman’s son.

OPP are investigating a fatal six-vehicle collision yesterday in Thorold
Police say a vehicle travelling southbound on the 406, crossed the centre median into the northbound lanes, and was struck, 4 other cars were hit by debris.
A 32-year-old man from St. Catharines, died at the scene.
A multi car collision in Waterloo, have police appealing to witnesses.
According to a social media post, it happened at about noon yesterday at the intersection of Weber and University Avenue East.
Police called it “a collision where a driver fled the scene.”

Ferrero Canada celebrated a milestone at its North American headquarters in Brantford on Thursday.
According to the Expositor, company executives, employees and dignitaries gathered for the official launch of Ferrero’s new chocolate squares production line.
This is the first time that Ferrero has launched a major global product outside of Europe.
The new product line is part of a $445 million expansion of the Brantford facility.
The province chipped in $36 million for the expansion.
