A major 911 outage has been fully fixed. Several police services reported intermittent outages early yesterday morning. Now they were mainly reported in the GTHA, but were also affecting other parts of the country, including the Maritime provinces, Montreal and areas out west. Bell confirmed the problem was tied to a system upgrade. A Toronto police officer accused in a major organized crime and police corruption probe is now also accused of planning to help set up and run illegal cannabis dispensaries and ****** massage parlors. Timothy Barnhart, one of eight active and retired officers charged earlier this year in Project South, a massive investigation by York Police involving allegations of bribery, conspiracy to commit murder and other offenses. Newly unsealed details from police warrants alleges he was searching police databases some of the checks he conducted and shared with associates involved individuals who were later the target of shootings.
