A large portion of southern Ontario under a weather alert, Environment Canada has issued A snowfall warning for York Region and the GTA, with up to 10 centimeters expected and reduced visibility. with heavy snow. Making things worse, government workers mandated back to the office so your commute is expected to be slow and slippery. York Region police say a child was critically injured after a house fire in Markham Friday. Police initially said the home was evacuated and no injuries were reported, but upon clearing the home, they found a child inside taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. As several countries condemned the weekend ouster of Venezuela as president by the U.S., protesters were calling for the federal government to support the right to self-determination for the Venezuelan people and for the U.S. to back away.
