The shooting on Saturday left two people dead and prompted organizers to cancel the final day of the event. Police say roughly 13,000 people were at the festival when gunfire broke out. Organizations across the country, including groups representing Toronto's Latin community, have posted messages of solidarity and support since the shooting. Details of the three-year deal are not being released until they are ratified by union members. Unifor has said talks with Stellantis and General Motors are expected to begin once the Ford agreement is ratified. A statement on the actor's social media page says his death in Sydney, Australia was sudden and unexpected. In 2023, Neil disclosed he had been diagnosed with cancer, though his family's statement says he was cancer-free when he died and did not specify A cause of death. In sports, the Saskatchewan Roughriders outscored the visiting Hamilton Tiger Cats 27-0 in the second-half of their game en route to a 38-7 CFL win on Sunday. The riders improved to 4-1 while the Tie Cats, who were without injured quarterback Beau Levi Mitchell, slipped to 2-3.
