A Waterloo Region mayor urging rural drivers to be careful after a collision Friday night killed five children and injured six other family members, including an infant. Police said a van carrying 10 people collided with an SUV. The children who died were from Elmira, aged 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. OPP said there is a rural traffic safety enforcement blitz coming this week. Three women seriously injured after a collision in Barrie yesterday afternoon. Simcoe paramedics say it happened near Dunlop and Highway 27. Officials say Orange landed, but the women ended up getting transferred to the hospital by ambulance.
