We're currently under a couple of weather advisories. According to Environment Canada, most of Southern Ontario under some sort of weather notice. Now we're under a fog advisory and special weather statement. Areas of Newmarket Aurora will see continued rain and lots of dense fog this morning. York Police say an accelerant was used in each of three separate overnight fires at Markham businesses early yesterday morning. Investigators have not confirmed if they're connected. The firefighters were first called at 4.30 to an area near Highway 7 and 9th Line. Later dealing with a fire near Markham and Castlemore, the third blaze was at a plaza on Markham. and 16th. Police say a black SUV was seen circling numerous times before leaving at a high rate of speed. A man accused of breaking into a Lindsay apartment last year in a case that became a political flashpoint over Canadian rights to defend their homes. has admitted he did it. Michael Kyle Breen pleaded guilty yesterday to breaking and entering and failing to comply with a probation order from last year. The case attracted significant attention after police also arrested the homeowner who had confronted the intruder. Expect the price of your purchase on Amazon to cost more. Now Amazon will start charging Canadian companies a new fuel charge of 3.5% on fulfillment fees to pack and ship goods because of the rising price of gas. But it's not a consumer charge.
