Well, it's the final countdown for millions of Canadians today. It's the deadline for filing your taxes. Most people have until midnight tonight to submit their 2025 income tax returns to the CRA. Self-employed Canadians have until June 15th to file their paperwork. A procession for a fallen OPP officer happens this afternoon. Sergeant Brandon Malcolm died when his motorcycle crashed on the 401 in Coburg. Police say his body will leave the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto, heading east on the 401 to Oshawa. Police say those who wish to show their support can gather on one of the highway's overpasses or sign an online book of condolences. A Toronto officer accused of leaking information to criminals in a wide-reaching corruption case will stay behind bars after a bail review. Constable Timothy Barnhart, one of eight active or retired Toronto police officers, charged in a corruption investigation led by York Police. The 56-year-old faces 17 charges, the most of any of the officers accused. And the province will pour more than 20 million into hundreds of festivals and events across the province this year. The Ford government said the funding is meant to help boost tourism, create jobs, and celebrate local communities.
