Kearney's government now has 171 seats with three by-elections set for Monday. The conflict in the Middle East is taking another turn. Iran has reportedly closed the Strait of Hormuz again. after allegedly agreeing to reopen it as part of a ceasefire deal with the U.S. Well, officials say the latest move is because Israel did not abide by the ceasefire and has continued bombing Lebanon. The UN Secretary General condemned Israeli strikes. The federal conservatives asking the Kearney Liberals to suspend the fuel tax as the conflict has sent gas prices soaring. They say Ottawa is raking in more revenue from the higher prices and it should go directly to Canadians via a break at the pumps. And don't gas up just yet. We're hearing gas prices could drop 13 cents a liter tomorrow. And Sobey's recalling several products containing cheese over listeria contamination. Canadian Food Inspection Agency said it includes cauliflower cakes, pasta salads, and various prepared items at Sobey's, Co-op, Foodland, IGA, Safeway, and Thrifty Foods.
