Police looking for witnesses after two pedestrians were seriously injured in a collision in Vaughan. York Police said officers were called Tuesday evening to Rutherford and Velmar Drive. They say an SUV hit two pedestrians while they were crossing on the sidewalk. Man and a woman were taken to hospital. A recruit who died in a car crash near the Ontario Police College has been identified. Durham police say Tyrone Magbatang died in a collision between a car and a transport truck in Malahide. Police say the 27-year-old was one of its constables in training who joined the force in May of 2023. Marineland is a step closer to finally rescuing the remaining whales and dolphins. The former tourist attraction in Niagara Falls says care teams from the United States are expected to arrive in the next few weeks to assess and prepare the whales for travel. Ottawa endorsed a plan last month to move the animals to several locations. An update from the U.S. military said it's hit some 90 targets across Iran this morning after the U.S. declared the ceasefire was over.
