More than 106,000 Canadians are registered in the Middle East. York Region police have charged a 47-year-old priest with sex assault of a child dating back to the 90s. Police say the alleged assaults took place in York Region and Toronto. Police say a Coptic church priest from East Gwillimbury was arrested and charged and say the accused was not a priest at the time of the incidents. York Police trying to identify a suspect wanted in an attempted commercial robbery in Newmarket. Police say officers were called to reports there were five masked males entering a shop with hammers February 21st. The suspects fled in a Honda CRV. Police in York Region have charged an occupational therapist assistant with assaulting a child with special needs in Vaughan. Police say the alleged assault happened at a home where the suspect attended a therapy session February 26th. The 36-year-old was charged the following day. Police are worried there may be more victims. And home sales in the GTHA fell last month, along with new listings and average selling prices, as the city's real estate board believes potential buyers are waiting for the market to bottom out before making a move.
