Also, flight delays continue this morning for anybody looking to get out of Dodge. Pearson reported some departures were canceled or delayed yesterday. A few more expected today, so make sure you contact your airline ahead of time. According to an aviation analytics firm, hundreds of flights across the country were affected. Now, weather warnings persist across much of southern Ontario because it's either cold or we have snow squalls. There are no weather alerts at this point for New Market Aurora. York Region Police investigating a homicide yesterday afternoon. Police say a person was targeted in Vaughan at about 1 o'clock. The victim found with multiple gunshot wounds near Weston and Rowntree Dairy Road. and later died in hospital. Police are looking for a suspect vehicle described as a black SUV. And they actually said yes to wildlife this time. Marineland's belugas have received a reprieve from death row. Federal government conditionally approved a plan to export the last remaining captive whales in Canada to the United States. The move comes after Marineland presented what it called an urgent rescue solution to the federal government last week. Hot country sports, NHL yesterday, only one Canadian team on the ice. In the NBA, the Raptors host the Knicks tomorrow, 7.30. Toronto FC kicks off its pre-season schedule this week with a closed-door match. They're holding a training camp in the south of Spain.
