Two Canadian tourists have apparently died after a bus crash in the Dominican Republic. According to reports, it happened Sunday night involving a shuttle transporting tourists to a hotel. The Dominican Republic's National Health Service had 8 of the injured were male, 5 female between the ages of 37 and 72. The age and gender of the deceased tourists were not available. York Police now appealing to witnesses after a shooting we talked about yesterday at a Thornhill business. Police called to a commercial plaza near Yonge and Steeles just after 3 Sunday. Nobody was hurt, but the business, unoccupied at the time, was shot at. Police are looking for a dark-colored SUV. The US State Department has ordered the evacuation of non-emergency personnel and family from six nations in the Middle East over its ongoing war with Iran. The US Embassy in Saudi Arabia came under attack and Americans were urged to stay away. The US and Israel are still pounding Iran with airstrikes since Saturday. Canada's defense minister said Canadian military personnel in the Middle East are out of harm's way. And this could be a sign Ontario will do the same. British Columbia has moved to lock in permanent daylight time after years of waiting on the U.S. to do it. Clocks will spring forward one last time this weekend in B.C.
