The province looking into substantially increasing the fine for evading GO Transit. It proposes to increase its fine from $35 to $200 for a first offense and $500 for subsequent offenses. The government said fare evasion costs the province about $21 million in lost revenue each year. They're also looking to expand the One Fare program that prevents transit riders from being charged a second fare when transferring between transit systems in the GTA. York Police warning about hidden cameras being used to scout homes for break-ins. Devices disguised with camouflage were apparently found at two properties in Vaughan. Police say the cameras were set up to track residents' routines before the crimes. Homeowners are urged to report anything suspicious. And nearly a million TVs were tuned in to watch Joni Mitchell accept her Lifetime Achievement Award at the Juno Sunday night. The CBC said 2.6 million viewers tuned in for some portion of the ceremony, an average audience of 765,000. That's 11% higher than last year. Hot Country Sports NHL last night.
