With the interest rate decision set this morning, the rate is expected to remain unchanged, most likely because GDP numbers were stronger than expected. Here's a fun side note. Government spending can artificially inflate GDP numbers while simultaneously making life less affordable for consumers. StatsCan said just the price of beef alone in the past year has surged 12.4%. Overall food inflation up 6% in the past year. What's more disturbing, one in four Canadians does not have consistent dependable access to enough food. An acupuncturist in Richmond Hill accused of sex assault. Police are worried they're more victims. The 61-year-old practiced at a location near Major Mac in Bayview. Now A Zoom meeting was arranged, but during the meeting the suspect said there were audio issues and directed the victim to another link. Shortly afterwards, a victim received banking notifications indicating unauthorized transactions. Police remind you to be careful.
