Breakthrough T1D Walk is a high-energy, family-friendly event where you’ll meet others who "just get it.” Expect smiles, team spirit, and a whole lot of heart. The Walk is more than just an event – it's a celebration of the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community, where families, volunteers, and supporters come together to help make every day better for those living with type 1 diabetes.
Additional Details:
Dogs: Well-behaved, leashed dogs and service animals are welcome at the event! Please keep in mind that it can get quite busy, and we kindly ask that you clean up after your dog to help keep the event enjoyable for everyone.
Parking: There is ample parking on site.
Route: This trail is well-maintained and fully paved, making it suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, and other accessibility aids.

What is Type 1 Diabetes? (TD1)
A Chronic autoimmune disease where the mancreas stops producing insulin. Insulin is essential for survival. TD1 can be diagnosed at any age and has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle.
